Beverly J. Stevens, lovingly known as “Bev,” age 83, of Solon, Ohio,
passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness,
and unwavering devotion to her family.
Bev was the beloved wife of the late Les Stevens, with whom she shared a lifetime of love,
laughter, and partnership. Together they loved to spend the Ohio winters in Jupiter, Florida
where they were avid golfers. Bev was proud to proclaim that she was the only member
of our family with a hole-in-one.
She was a devoted and proud mother to her son, Scott R. Stevens. Nothing brought Bev
greater joy than her role as a mother and grandmother. She adored her grandsons,
Gavin and Brandt Stevens, and took immense pride in watching them grow and thrive
in all of their endeavors.
Bev will be remembered for her gracious spirit, her generous heart, her quick wit,
maybe her feistiness, and the quiet strength with which she faced life’s joys and challenges.
She had a remarkable ability to make others feel welcome and cared for, and her kindness
touched many beyond her immediate family especially at Governor’s Village in her last year of life.
A private burial service will be held for the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Bev’s memory
to a charity that you hold dear, honoring her lifelong spirit of generosity and care for others.
